A team of dedicated professionals, the Take Shape for Life corporate
team provides the knowledge and experience to support the Health Coaches
and the growth of the company.
Leo V. Williams, III
Chairman of the Board, Take Shape For Life, Inc.
Executive Vice President, Medifast, Inc.
Major General Williams received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1970 and earned a Master of
Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University in
1978. As a General Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, General Williams
served as Commanding General, 4th Force Service Support Group, Marine
Forces Reserve; Commanding General, Marine Corps Reserve Support
Command; Vice Director, Joint Experimentation (J9), U.S. Joint Forces
Command; and, Deputy Commanding General, Marine Corps Combat Development
Command. He retired from the Marine Corps on January 1, 2004 after 33
1/2 years of service.
General Williams presently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board, Marine
Toys for Tots Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Directors, U.S.
Naval Academy Foundation and the Navy Mutual Aid Association. He also
serves as a Trustee for the University of the District of Columbia. From
September 2000 through December 2003, the Secretary of Defense appointed
him a member of the Reserve Forces Policy Board. General Williams was
also the Future Vehicle Marketing Plans Manager for the Ford Explorer,
Expedition, Excursion, Escape and F150 pickup truck for Ford Motor
Company.
Bradley MacDonald
Executive Chairman, Medifast, Inc. and Co-founder of
Take Shape for Life, Inc.
Mr. MacDonald served as the CEO of Medifast, Inc. from 1998 through
2007. He served as national president of the Marine Corps Reserve
Officers Association and retired from the United States Marine Corps
Reserve as a Colonel in 1997, after 27 years of service. He currently
sits on the Board of Directors of several organizations including the
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and Wireless Xcessories.
Prior to joining the company, he was appointed as Program Director of
the U.S. Olympic Coin Program of the Atlanta Olympic Games. From 1991
through 1994, Brad returned to active duty to be Deputy Director and CFO
of the Retail, Food, Hospitality, and Recreation Businesses for the
United States Marine Corps. Prior thereto, Brad served as COO of the
Bonneau Sunglass Company, President of Pennsylvania Optical Co.,
Chairman and CEO of MacDonald and Associates, which had major financial
interests in retail drug, consumer candy, and pilot sunglass companies.
Dr. Wayne Andersen
Medical Director and Co-Founder, Take Shape for Life, Inc.
Dr. Andersen is a board certified Anesthesiologist and Critical Care
Specialist. He served as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology
and Director of Critical Care at a major teaching hospital in the
Midwest. He graduated first in his class from medical school and helped
pioneer the emerging subspecialty of intensive care medicine. In 2003,
the Consumers Research Council of America named Dr. Andersen a top
physician in critical care and nutritional intervention. To learn more

Michael S. McDevitt
Chief Executive Officer, Take Shape for Life, Inc.
and Medifast, Inc.
Mr. McDevitt joined Take Shape for Life's Corporate parent Medifast in
2002 as the Controller and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in
January 2004. In March, 2005 he was promoted to President. In June of
2005, Mr. McDevitt was named President of Take Shape for Life, Inc.
Prior to joining Medifast, Mr. McDevitt worked as a Financial Analyst in
the Merchant Banking division for The Blackstone Group, an investment
and advisory firm based in New York, NY. Mr. McDevitt graduated from
James Madison University with a BS in Finance and Computer Science.
Rodman R. Heckman III
Executive Vice President, Take Shape for Life,
Inc.
Rod Heckman's background includes an MBA from the University of
Pennsylvania's Wharton School and more than twenty years' experience in
marketing, general management and consulting. Prior to joining Take
Shape For Life in 2006, he served as Chief Executive Officer, Homes For
Living, Senior Vice President, Celebrations by Lillian Vernon, and
Director of New Product Marketing for Latin America, Avon Products.
Allison Nipper
Vice President, Field Operations, Take Shape For Life,
Inc.
Ms. Nipper joined the team in 2002, prior to the official launch of Take
Shape for Life. As Vice President of Field Operations, she is committed
to the development and betterment of the sales field, our valued Health
Coaches and Health Professionals. Her focus is on providing a sound
platform for our independent Health Coaches to grow and manage their
businesses, including field services, client support, marketing, event
and training coordination, and program development and administration.
Ms. Nipper graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a BA in
Psychology.
